FOUNDER’S HELLO
Dear Friends,
In public radio, we literally get by with the help of our friends. The Founders Circle is a group of authentic friends to CAI and to the communities we serve. Over the past year, when some of our general and sustaining members had to stop their memberships due to financial insecurity, you stepped up and increased your support. We at the station feel such gratitude for that gesture. We can’t see our listeners, but your gifts tell us clearly you are there, and that you are with us. We prize your friendship…and will always try to be worthy of it.
Jay Allison,
Founder and Executive Producer, CAI Public Radio
Host and Producer, The Moth Radio Hour, Sunday Evening Host, Arts and Ideas

GOLD MEDAL JOURNALISM

Meet the local Reporters who bring coveted industry awards home to CAI, Monday through Friday, during Morning Edition, 6-9AM and All Things Considered, 4-6:30PM.
Daniel Ackerman is our newest recruit and comes to us via Report for America. Daniel’s reporting is focused on the South Coast. It’s a dynamic region, in which offshore wind is poised to revitalize the economy; the coming of commuter rail may transform the city’s housing; and the historic fishing industry continues to lead the nation. To stay on top of it all, Daniel's new and continuing coverage can be accessed here
Jenette Barnes is our lead reporter for the Cape, Coast, and Islands. Covering education, transportation, housing, health, tourism—she takes it all on. And when breaking news happens, she’s there, too. Her COVID reporting is as comprehensive as it comes. The scope of Jennette's coverage can be accessed here
Eve Zuckoff is CAI’s environment reporter. Water quality, endangered species, energy, and health are central to her beat. She has broken major stories about toxic algae blooms, right whales, and a proposed machine gun range. Eve's continuing coverage can be accessed here
